Amazon sale cuts prices on Echo speakers, Samsung 4K TVs, Windows 10 laptops and more

If you’re after a summer bargain, you should pay Amazon a quick visit. The online retailer has just launched its big summer sale, which runs from today (Monday July 6, 2020) until Sunday, July 12. There will, no doubt, be plenty of deals to choose from – but Amazon has certainly got things off with a bang with one of the lowest prices we’ve ever seen on its Echo Dot with Clock.

This neat little smart speaker launched last year and, as the name suggests, features a hidden digital clock under the mesh fabric design. The summer sale means you can pop this device in your online shopping basket for just £29.99 – that’s a saving of £30 off the usual price. And if you’re a Prime member, you’ll get your brand-new Alexa-enabled device in the post tomorrow.

Along with that discount, Amazon has dropped the price on plenty more tech item, including Philips TVs, Huawei laptops and UE Boom Bluetooth speakers.

Some of Samsung’s most popular 4K Smart TVs have also been dropped in price by 20 percent with deals starting from £349.

So, if you’re in the mood for some online shopping here’s some of the best discounts available in Amazon’s big summer sale.

As we mentioned earlier, this summer runs until Sunday July 12, with Amazon releasing new discounts every day. So, even if there’s nothing that takes your fancy today – you need to check back regularly.

There’s no word on which items will be dropped in price, but expect more cuts to its own brand devices such as the Fire tablets, speakers and Fire TV.

It’s also worth noting that Amazon has unexpectedly revived an Echo product widely-believed to be discontinued. The Echo Spot was first revealed back in 2017 and has now reappeared on Amazon’s website with a new lower price.

While the Echo Spot originally sold for £119.99, the smart bedside clock is currently available for £79.99. While that’s an undeniable bargain compared to the original RRP
