However, many businesses are urging the Government to extend support while the economy gets back on its feet following the effects of Covid-19 and continued lockdown restrictions.
According to The Times, the Chancellor is expected to announce an extension to support such as the furlough scheme and business loans.
Mr Sunak is also reportedly considering an extension to Stamp Duty holiday cuts, which are due to expire on March 31, as well as an increase in some benefits.
The opportunity is also there for the Chancellor to consider raising taxes such as corporation tax, to help recover the deficit as a result of public spending due to Covid-19.
