Jonah Winter continued his hot streak, shooting a 3-over-par 75 to win the 14- to-18-year-old age bracket, helping the North defeat the South, 1,040-985, in the Florida State Championship at The Junior Tour Powered by Under Armour on Sunday at Innisbrook Island Golf Course.

A rising senior at Booker High, Winter also won the Under Armour Junior Golf Match No. 6 on May 31 at the TPC Prestancia Stadium Course in Sarasota.

Winter finished one shot better than James Bradley and Riverview High’s Connor DeMichele, who carded 76s.

Bryan Payes and Logan Veith finished tied for fourth with 80s.

Bryce Napier took the 10-to-13-year-old bracket with a 75, 11 shots better than runner-up Kyle Souchak of Sarasota.

In the 6-to-9-year-old bracket, Josiah Joseph of Englewood carded a 4-under-par 68, four shots better than Ben Ossi on a down-sized course.

Free co-ed soccer at Glebe Park Saturday

Free co-ed soccer is available for players ages 8-14 for four weeks beginning Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at Glebe Park on Siesta Key. The group will meet the following three Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. The games will have referees and last about an hour.
