House goes on sale for £1.3m but photos of the inside leave viewers puzzled

A house has gone up for sale at a whopping £1.3, but the inside photos have left people feeling a bit queasy.

House hunting is never easy and there’s always some compromise to be made, whether it’s location, size or the need for renovations.

This five-bedroom detached home in Middlesex seemed perfect on paper, boasting a family-friendly location, bright spaces, and a conservatory leading to a patio area and spacious rear garden.

But, there was one design quirk that might put off potential buyers.

In 2019, Toby Davies shared the property on Twitter, highlighting its unusual interior design choice. His post quickly grabbed attention, racking up more than 6,000 likes and being reposted around 2,500 times.

He joked: “Thinking about buying this house, but I’m not sure it has enough plug sockets.”

As you move from the stunning exterior to the dreamy kitchen and then to the living area, Toby’s sarcastic concerns become very clear.

Every wall seems to be covered in sockets. Sockets stacked on top of one another sockets halfway up the walls and sockets running underneath the windows.

This house has more plug sockets than you could ever imagine needing, leaving people puzzled about what the previous owners were doing.

The owners seem to have never used a multi-plug adapter or an extension lead, leading to questions like “were they running the CIA from the front room?” and “was this an electrician’s training centre at one point?”.

Another person joked that the last electricity bill was £1,452,092 for the quarter.

If you’re a big fan of electricity, this could be your dream home, with three bathrooms, a garage and a lovely breakfast bar.

The online description didn’t explain why there are so many sockets, but it’s no surprise they’re asking for a high price.
