Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, wore a monochrome ensemble and revealed new dark hair during a video engagement. She thanked nurses for their work during the coronavirus pandemic.
“These acts of courage, strength, and kindness matter so much right now and we owe you a huge thank you for all that you have done and continue to do throughout these difficult times.”
When speaking with key workers, Kate chose a professional and stylish ensemble.
Some fans were quick to note her hair had also changed as she seemed to ditch her light brown highlights.
Posting on Twitter, one wrote: “The Duchess sent love and support to all nurses working around the clock during this terrible crisis. Catherine’s hair is longer and darker.”
The Duchess of Cambridge is known for her signature hairstyle of a bouncy blow-dry.
While she has always been a brunette, the royal will often mix up the shades and has most recently been sporting chestnut highlights.
In the clip, however, she showcased her new mahogany brown hair which was styled straight and sleek.
Her enviable locks also appeared to have grown much longer and she tucked her hair behind one ear.
The earrings, by Simone Rocha, are becoming a favourite of Kate’s and she has worn them on various recent engagements including during her UK tour last month.
The earrings originally retailed for £225, however they are now sold out.
Kate chose a subtle make-up look for the video call wearing a slick of blusher.
She wore a thin layer of mascara and a nude lipstick.
