Meghan Markle wants to “move on from being a Duchess” and launch her own global brand, whilst Prince Harry “would be much happier at home with the children”, a royal expert has claimed.
Royal biographer Emily Andrews said even though the Duke and Duchess of Sussex looked “every inch the couple in love” during the Invictus Games, they have reportedly been living “separate lives” as Meghan preferred to “look forward” while Harry was more “focused on the past”.
She told Woman magazine: “Many people I have spoken to said they were leading separate lives, as Meghan preferred to ‘look forward’ in building a new lifestyle brand while Harry was more ‘focused on the past’.”
The royal expert explained: “These pictures [at the Invictus Games] are the first time that the couple have appeared together in public for four months – ever since that car chase in New York back in May, which they claimed was ‘near catastrophic’ after they were chased by paparazzi photographers, but everyone else (including the city’s mayor, NYPD officials and even their taxi driver) said was most definitely not.”
Andrews went on to say that while Prince Harry doesn’t “really enjoy” the public attention and would much rather stay “at home with the children”, meanwhile Meghan wants to move on from being a royal and “launch her own global brand.”

She said: “Meghan now wants to move on from being a duchess (although she’s clinging on to that title like a limpet!) and launch her own global brand.
“Harry, though, doesn’t necessarily court the public’s attention.
“In my experience, he’s never really enjoyed it – and would be much happier at home with the children, doing charity work.
“But that’s definitely not what Meghan wants from life right now.”
