Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are being “very strategic about their privacy”, royal commentators have claimed. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will ensure that their son, Archie Harrison, is protected even as he celebrates his second birthday. Royal author Elizabeth Holmes spoke to the Royally Obsessed podcast about what this could entail.
Ms Holmes continued: “Also it was a video so it was harder to get a clear still of Archie to run time and time and time again.
“I think they’re very cognisant of that.
“Because there are so few images of Archie out there, when he is covered in the press they take the ones that are on the wires.
“So if you don’t put that much out there, and put only a screenshot and not a clear photo, people are less likely to run it.”
She told the podcast: “I’m curious how the Sussexes will handle it.
“Last year we had that wonderful release through Save the Children.
“It was that video of Meghan and Archie reading Duck Rabbit, which is a staple in my library now.
“I hadn’t known about that book, and now it’s a favourite for my son.
“So I’m just curious how they will handle it this year.”
