Prince William called and spoke to his brother this week ahead of the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral today. A royal source told The Daily Mirror the pair will “leave conversations about their future relationship for another time”.
The funeral on Saturday to honour the life of the Duke of Edinburgh, who died last week aged 99, will be the first time the brothers have seen each other in person in over a year.
Buckingham Palace confirmed details of the funeral arrangements this week, including the list of those walking behind Philip’s coffin.
The Palace confirmed that Harry and William will be walking apart at their grandfather’s funeral.
A spokesman for the Palace said: “This is a funeral, we’re not going to be drawn into those perceptions of drama, or anything like that, this is a funeral.
“The arrangements have been agreed, and they represent Her Majesty’s wishes, so we’re not going to say anything more on that.”
Harry has been staying with at Frogmore Cottage since his return to the UK, according to reports, and is allowed to attend the funeral on “compassionate grounds”.
His pregnant wife, Meghan Markle, is not attending the funeral under doctors’ advice not to fly.
A royal source told The Daily Mail: “Tensions are still obviously running high, a lot has been said and wounds are still very raw.

Philip’s funeral will take place at 3pm today with many across the nation taking a moment of silence for the Duke.
