Virgin Media has unlocked 7 free TV channels for all users… but it won't last forever

Virgin Media has launched a brand new freebie for all its TV customers throughout October – and it’s perfect for families with children. As the nights begin to draw in and get darker, all Virgin TV customers will be given access to additional kids TV channels including Sky Kids, Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Cartoonito, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr, and Nicktoons.

The addition would normally cost an extra £5 a month but Virgin is offering the extra add-on to all customers – completely free.

Virgin has said it is its way of saying thank you to customers and helping to keep families entertained throughout October, including half term, with a host of popular shows available to watch at home or on the go.

This includes Pip and Posy Let’s Learn (Sky Kids), Monster High 2 (Nickelodeon), PAW Patrol – Jungle Pups (Nick Jr) and Teen Titans Go! (Cartoon Network) so there should be something for everyone to enjoy.

David Bouchier, Chief TV & Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, said: “With half-term just around the corner, and lots of households feeling the pinch, we’re giving families a helping hand to stay entertained this October with a host of premium kids and teen TV channels available at no extra cost.

“It’s all part of our focus to deliver a range of top-quality entertainment all year round so there’s something for everyone to enjoy.”

The free channels will launch from October 1 until October 31 and families can watch 100’s of episodes from channels such as Sky Kids, Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Cartoonito, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr and Nicktoons.

It will be available to all existing and new Virgin Media TV customers, who are subscribed to any of the current TV plans.

Normally the premium channels are part of the Kids TV Pick, priced at £5 per month, with BabyTV available at an additional £5 per month.

However after the end of the month, you’ll be forced to pay an extra £5 a month if you want to keep the channels.

But if you don’t have Virgin Media, you can find a whole host of TV package deals right here from Virgin or if you want to shop around, you can find out about the best Sky deals.

Virgin is currently offering a great deal which includes superfast 250MB broadband as well as 190+ channels which includes Sky channels as well.
